Ara Celi (born Ara Celi) is an American actress who has been featured in American films, TV and theatre. She had a prominent role in the minor dance film Looking for Lola, but is most well-known for her guest-starring role of Ampata Gutierrez (aka Inca Mummy Girl) from Season Two of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Ara Celi has achieved fame as an American actress, writer and producer for her roles as a writer and actor in Machete (2010) American Beauty (1998) as well as Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997). The first time she was noticed, she played a part in Saved by the Bell, The College Years (1993), in which she played character Theresa Alvarez.
